Financial, Media & Advertising Lead Q1 OOH Growth
Out of home advertising revenue rose 4.2 percent in the first quarter of 2011 compared to the same period in 2010, accounting for nearly $1.4 billion in total revenue, according to the Outdoor Advertising Association of America (OAAA). Top industry categories accounted for $1.1 billion of the Q1 total. The increase in revenue signals steady year-over-year revenue growth since the second quarter of 2010.
