Top 10 Viral Videos - October 2009

Internet videos created to promote Volkswagen, Google, the 2016 Olympic Games and Diesel are high on the list of the top-10 viral and up-and-coming-viral campaigns selected by video-content distributor Goviral as the most interesting and innovative in October 2009.

The videos on the list - which reflect North American, European, African and South American locales and an global cadre of agency creators - use a variety of approaches to hold viewers’ attention - including off-beat, cheeky humor, bizarre events, memorable music, anticipation of the unexpected and recollections of movie scenes.

As was also case with the top viral videos in August 2009, the videos continue to highlight the international nature of viral video and illustrate how various companies are using these vehicles to build global brand awareness that attempts to span cultures.

    Don’t know why you didn’t credit the Google Wave Cinema - but it was created by an agency called Whirled Interactive - http;
    ://www.getwhirled.com - it even says this at the end of the vid.
