    Notes: Millennials (18-34) are about twice as likely as older generations to view mobile payments as easier and more efficient than other payment methods, per GfK’s survey. Of note, though Gen Y (25-34) are in fact the most likely to agree that they worry about personal information when making a mobile payment. Overall, one-third of respondents reported having made a mobile payment during the prior 6 months. Mobile payments represent only an estimated 2-4% of all payment transactions among US consumers, with the exception of Gen X, where they represent an estimated 8% share.
