Notes: Total paid and verified circulation declined by about 1.9% year-over-year during the first half of 2014 for the 367 US consumer magazines reporting comparable numbers, while paid subscriptions declined by 1.8% and single-copy sales by 11.9% (the AAM notes that the closure of a key wholesaler and distributor might have had an impact on the results for some magazines). Meanwhile, magazines reported that digital replica editions (paid, verified and analyzed nonpaid) accounted for 3.8% share of total circulation, up from 3.3% during H1 2013.
