Meanwhile, comScore finds that Apple remained the leading manufacturer (41.4% market share), ahead of Samsung (27%) during Q1, with the gap between the two narrowing by 1.3% points from Q4 2013. Android was still the top OS in Q1 (52.2%), widening its lead over Apple. Facebook was again the most popular app in Q1 among adult iOS and Android users, with 75% reach, while Instagram moved into the 9th spot, with 28.1% reach.
