Notes: Customer satisfaction with pay-TV providers is at a multi-year low, but that doesn’t appear to be affecting subscriptions: the industry ended up with a positive quarter in Q1, and new research from TDG indicates that cord-cutting intent among adult broadband users remains flat from the past couple of years. This year’s survey results show that 15% of respondents claim to be somewhat likely to cancel their service, essentially unchanged from 2013 and 2012. Of course, very very few subscribers who say they’re likely to cut the cord actually follow through with it – last year the pay-TV industry shed just 0.1% of its subscriber base.
