      Notes: Desktop e-commerce spending increased by 12% year-over-year to $56.1 billion, the 14th consecutive quarter of double-digit growth. That $56.1 billion represented 11.7% share of consumers’ discretionary spending, the highest first-quarter share recorded by comScore to-date. Five product categories saw growth of at least 13%: apparel and accessories; consumer packaged goods; sport and fitness; digital content and subscriptions; and home and garden.Meanwhile, mobile commerce spending grew by 23% year-over-year to reach $7.3 billion, 62% of which was on smartphones and the remainder on tablets.
