Notes: Usability – having to enlarge first to ensure touching or clicking in the right place – stands as the largest problem online shoppers have with mobile shopping, according to a mobile study of more than 100,000 online shoppers by Bizrate Insights, a division of Connexity. Slow load times (25%) and having to use the “full site” version to access the desired content (21%) are the next-most cited problems, per the report.
Interestingly, a lack of product information (12%) and data security concerns (11%) were the least-cited problems. This suggests a shift in recent years, as previous research has found that difficulty viewing product information and security concerns to have been comparatively larger barriers to mobile shopping.
