Notes: Some 92% of the US online population consumes some type of news on a monthly basis, and 58% of those US news users indicate that they accessed print or online newspapers during the week prior to the survey, the second lowest figure of the 10 countries tracked. Respondents were more likely to have accessed print (49%) than online (33%) newspapers, with the US and France the only countries which did not break the majority threshold for print newspaper reach. Separately, 50% of US respondents said that TV is their main source of news, versus 35% for online (including social media), 6% for print and 4% for radio.
